We made it safe and sound!

Greetings from the land of fun and sun! After a grueling night in the Miami airport scattered all over the floors of the terminal, we landed this afternoon in Antigua. Our team was tired to say the least, but we were happy to finally be here. We praise the Lord that the trip went without a hiccup as there were no delays and everyone got their baggage. Praise God!

Our missionaries met us at the airport, and after loading up our luggage and securing our rental vans we drove to the mission houses. The team was finally able to see the beautiful country of Antigua (many for the first time).

After unpacking, the missionaries invited us up to their home for a delicious meal and a time of fellowship. It was great for our students to be able to interact with the missionaries and introduce themselves. After dinner, we introduced our team to "our beach" and allowed them to see the breath-taking views of God's wonderful landscape here in this beautiful country.

It was an early bed time for our team tonight as many were falling asleep just after dinner. Perhaps the lack of sleep in the Miami airport had something to do with that!

Thank you each for your prayers! We praise the Lord that we made such a long trip with so many people and so much luggage and yet didn't have one problem (other than a burst bag of Doritos chips which split open during transit ha ha). We look forward to hitting the ground hard tomorrow! Each of the team members sends their best!

Goodnight! We'll update again soon!

  1. Glad to hear you all made it there safely without incident. Praying for the Lord to work in and through the team members during their time there. God bless.
