We were blessed with another beautiful (but very warm) day here in Antigua.
Some of the guys got up early today and went with Nathan up to the FM tower to do some painting. The tower is on Mount Obama (renamed from Boggy Peak in honor of President Obama). It was a long hard day in the sun, but they did a great job. They were definitely all worn out when they returned. The work was tiring, but the view was beautiful. They got the opportunity to look over most of the island.
The rest of the crew went to the station for the day. They were able to keep working on many of their projects from yesterday. It seems each person is finding something that they enjoy doing and that they can use the unique skills and abilities that God has given to them. Janice was able to help Renee Owens with some different accounting work. Olivia has been incredible at documenting our trip. Josh and Bridget almost finished a project today that I thought would take them the entire time we are here. Bethany Davis, Bethany Williams, Meredith, Angelina, Katie, and Emyly all worked hard today researching, writing, voicing, and producing different things for the station. It was exciting to see all of the work that they were able to accomplish.
The team is at a youth rally in St. Johns tonight. They were looking forward to the opportunity to interact with a lot of local teenagers. We will post more about their ministry there tomorrow.
Thank you for your continued prayers. For the parents: all of your children are doing great. Jonny and I were just talking today about how hard everyone is working. We are thankful also that they are all loving on our children! It means a lot to this Mom.
Have a great night!
Kathryn
